Use these durable nets to safeguard your operation’s yield and quality with an eco-friendly approach (minimizing the need for chemicals or excessive labor).

Sustainable Choice: Naconet™ Compostable Netting

Looking for an eco-friendly alternative? Naconet™ is Conwed’s industrial compostable netting solution, designed specifically for agricultural applications like turf reinforcement or crop protection.

Engineered to meet industrial compostability standards, Naconet™ helps reduce plastic waste while delivering the same durability and performance you expect from Conwed.

Aquaculture Netting

Aquaculture, or aquafarming, relies on robust netting to contain and protect aquatic stock. Conwed’s aquaculture netting provides durable enclosures for fish, crustaceans, mollusks, and aquatic plants. Our fish farming nets resist corrosion and algae growth, ensuring long service life in marine and freshwater environments. These nets and mesh materials are selected for their design feasibility, material strength, cost-effectiveness, and resistance to UV and water degradation.

Crop & Animal Protection Netting

Conwed™ Crop & Animal Protection Netting is ideal for protecting your valuable assets on the farm. This versatile mesh creates a barrier to guard fields, orchards, and pastures from wildlife and pests – from birds and bats in fruit trees to deer and rabbits in row crops. We support a wide range of agricultural industries including horticulture, viticulture (vineyards), arboriculture (orchards), livestock farming, nurseries, and agroforestry. By installing our nets as bird netting over orchards or as lightweight deer fencing around fields, growers can prevent costly crop losses without resorting to pesticides. Fine-mesh options even act as insect netting to keep out cicadas, locusts, and other crop-damaging bugs. Whether you need to cover a blueberry patch or safeguard a livestock pen, our crop protection nets provide an effective, humane solution.

Plastic Fencing (Safety, Snow & Livestock Fence)

Conwed™ Plastic Fencing is used in safety, snow, and general agricultural applications. Through smart product design, our extruded plastic fence combines durability, visibility, and cost-effectiveness to offer a complete range of farm-friendly fencing. Use our resilient yet lightweight mesh fences as an economical deer fence to perimeter your property or protect orchards from browsing animals. In winter, farmers and municipalities deploy our bright snow fences to control drifting and protect roadways and crops from snow damage. The high-visibility orange meshes can also serve as safety fencing around equipment or work areas on the farm. Conwed fencing installs easily (no heavy wooden posts required) and stands up to harsh weather without rusting or corroding. It’s a versatile alternative to metal wire fencing, useful for everything from garden enclosures to temporary pens.

Garden and Nursery Netting

Conwed manufactures high-quality garden and nursery netting to help you support, contain, and safeguard plants and trees through all growth stages. Our garden nets act as protective mesh covers, shielding your plants from common pests and environmental hazards. By draping garden bird netting over fruit trees or berry bushes, you can prevent birds from pillaging your harvest. Fine-knit nursery nets keep out insects, while the sturdy perimeter mesh stops larger pests (deer, rabbits, groundhogs) from nibbling away at your crops. In addition, these nets provide structural support: use Conwed’s trellis netting for climbing plants (beans, cucumbers, flowers) to promote healthy vertical growth and easier harvesting. Whether in a backyard garden, a commercial nursery, or a greenhouse, our plant support netting improves yields naturally – reducing the need for chemical repellents and manual intervention. The netting is lightweight, easy to install, and allows air, sunlight, and rainfall to reach your plants while keeping threats out.

Hay Bale Netting

Our Conwed™ Hay Bale Netting is designed to quickly and tightly wrap forage into secure bales. This bale net wrap replaces traditional baling twine with a faster, more effective solution. As hay is baled, Conwed netting encases the bale with uniform tension, cinching it into a compact, weather-resistant package. Farmers can cover bales completely in just 2–3 rotations, reducing baling time by up to 50% compared to twine. The result is a firm, round bale that eliminates product loss – dried hay, straw, or forage is less likely to fall out or spoil, even during handling and storage. Our bale netting’s consistent pressure and coverage also reduce spoilage from rain by shedding water better than loose twine bindings. The net’s edges are reinforced for tear resistance, so bales stay intact during transport from field to barn. By using Conwed hay bale netting, you improve baling efficiency (saving on labor and fuel) and preserve more feed value in each bale. It’s compatible with all modern round balers that support netwrap.

Tree and Shrub Netting

Young trees and shrubs often need protection from breakage, browsing, and other damage. We offer Conwed™ Trunk Protection Netting and Vexar™ Extruded Netting, which serve as flexible tree guards and shrub wraps. These nets are essentially tubular sleeves of durable plastic mesh that slide over tree trunks or around shrub branches. They provide excellent branch containment during shipment and handling – preventing limbs from snapping or getting scraped in transit. In the landscape or nursery, our tree guard netting shields bark from gnawing rodents and rabbits, and from mechanical damage (like weed trimmers). The mesh is open enough to allow air circulation and light, preventing moisture build-up and mold on the trunk, while still forming a physical barrier. For balled-and-burlapped trees, wrapping the canopy with extruded netting keeps branches snug and secure. Once installed, the netting can expand as the tree grows, or be easily cut away when no longer needed. These tree and shrub nets are UV-stable for multi-season use and greatly reduce losses in horticulture operations.

Turf and Sod Netting (Turf Reinforcement)

From planting to harvest, Conwed™ Turf & Sod Netting supports turfgrass producers every step of the way. Our lightweight yet strong turf reinforcement netting is laid down during sod seeding to anchor the developing root system. As grass grows, its roots intertwine with the net’s mesh, creating a uniformly strong sod mat. This reinforcement allows turf growers to harvest sod earlier and in larger rolls without it falling apart – you can often harvest a crop in half the time thanks to the added stability. The netting also improves handling: the sod rolls hold together through transport and installation, reducing breakage and waste. Conwed sod nets are designed to withstand exposure to sunlight, water, and soil microbes during the growing cycle, yet they’re thin and flexible enough not to impede root growth. In addition to aiding harvest, turf netting provides some erosion control benefits on sod farms by keeping soil in place under the grass, even through heavy rain. Landscapers laying sod also appreciate that net-reinforced sod can be moved and unrolled with less tearing. Ultimately, our Turf & Sod Netting helps maximize yields (more sellable sod per field), minimize labor and rework, and ensure end customers receive a robust product.
